Ep 03: Black Lives DO Matter w/ E'Beth Goad
In this episode, E'Beth shares a very real and raw moment in her life just days after the death of George Floyd on May 25, 2020, with our host, Justine Evirs. Her bravery and humility to admit that she once upon a time use to say that "All Lives Matter" due to a lack of understanding of the significance of the "Black Lives Matter" movement.
E'Beth shares how she does not consider herself a racist but now sees how insensitive her comments may have been in the past. Her courage and humility to admit this is an example of how we can do hard things as humans. She stresses the importance of listening to one another and stepping outside of yourself to consider another perspective is crucial to coming together as a nation.
